FOUR-PART WORKSHOP SERIES The Indiana Student Achievement Institute is pleased to partner with the Indiana Department of Education to provide schools with professional development aimed at helping schools transform their school counseling program to the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling model. The content on these pages originally appeared as InSAI's "Guiding All Kids" Initiative published in the mid-1990's and upon which the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling model is based. |
| Description | This opportunity consists of four one-day training sessions held every eight weeks. Teams consisting of one counselor plus 1-5 additional counselors, teachers, administrators, parents, and/or community members) attend the training and then conduct activities with a local School Counseling Advisory Council. Advisory Council activities help the school create a vision-based and accountable school counseling program designed to help students be successful learners, responsible citizens, and productive workers in a global economy. |
